Beylerbeyi Palace
Beylerbeyi Palace is one of the most attractive examples of Ottoman architecture. It stands in the city of Istanbul on the Asian side of the Bosphorus. Constructed in 1800s to serve as the summer house for the Ottoman sultans, it is especially known for its graceful interior decorations, with intricate woodwork, soft carpets, and sparkling crystal chandeliers. A location in a prime spot with breathtaking views of Bosphorus, the palace had turned into a house of sorts for dignitaries and royal guests.
Open today to the general public, Beylerbeyi Palace is available for visitors to get a glimpse of the magnificent architecture and extensive history held within.
