Cancellation Policy
Istanbul Tours strive to make every travel remarkable earning the interest and the satisfaction of its clients. No matter how well balanced the interests and the satisfaction, it is apparent that circumstances will arise that will require one to cancel or alter such arrangements. This Cancellation Policies is aimed at giving guidelines on the provisions, guidelines, and linkages of time and provisions for incumbrance which exist in relation to cancelling any tours or activities which are booked through the market place.
The policy applies to all group and private tours listed and booked through info@istanbultours.com (Git Turizm Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ), on a per person and per tour basis.
General Cancellation Policy:
The cancellation policy for each product may be specific and detailed on its respective product page. Here some general cancellation policies that may apply:

More than 24 hours before the product (activity, tour, service...) starting time: Full refund.

More than 3 days before the product (activity, tour, service...) starting day: Full refund.

More than 7 days before the product (activity, tour, service...) starting day: 80% of the total tour cost is refunded though 20% of it is charged for cancellation.
Within these periods: Non-refundable.
Note: If the product requires third-party services (e.g. flights, yacht renting), those costs may be non-refundable or partially refundable based on the third-party provider’s policy.
Rescheduling Policy
If you prefer to reschedule rather than cancel:
Amendment requests in refundable period; the travelling voucher hanging to be modified will as change at no cost within that time pending it being at. This option is available for one years after the original booking.
Amendment requests in non-refundable period; the travelling voucher hanging to be modified reschedule with a penalty but only once with a penalty of starting from 20%. The notification conditions remain unchanged.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Late arrival and no-show participants for a tour will not be refunded. This policy applies to any participant who fails to arrive on time for the scheduled tour.
Changes to Itinerary
While we try to follow the original itinerary as much as possible, weather patterns, road conditions, site availability and many other factors may affect the timetable.We cannot be held responsible for any changes for external reasons. Consequently, we will not provide any compensation for these changes.
Non-Refundable Bookings
Specific bookings may include provisions that cannot be refunded, for example, Non-refundable flight tickets and hotel reservations. These are also known as special event rates or promotional fares that will no permit cancellation or modification.
Refund Processing
Refunds incurred as a direct consequence of a cancellation will be subject to a 7-15 business day processing period and this will be done using the original method of payment that was used by the customers. In those instances where applicable, credits for future bookings will be the refund method used.
Travel Insurance
We strongly advise the purchase of travel insurance as it shields trips made against risky scenarios which may render the trip postponed or called off entirely. Insurance can reimburse lost, non refundable costs due to unforeseen circumstances.
Changes to this Policy
Sometimes, Git Turizm Ticaret Ltd. Şti. can change any of the provisions in this policy. The new policy will apply for all tours booked after the changes.
