Uchisar Castle

Located in Turkey’s Cappadocia region, Uchisar Castle is a popular natural rock formation as well as a historical site. Being the highest point across the region, the site also gives a spectacular view of the fairy chimneys and valleys Uchisar Castle lies at the center of the valleys which is an impressive view. As a fortress, castle has been in use from the medieval period. Its location has always been beneficial in making it a defense site during Byzantine and Roman times.
