Caracalla Nymphaeum
One of the best-preserved Roman water structures in Turkey is situated at Aphrodisias, known as the Caracalla Nymphaeum. This imposing building, constructed in the 3rd century AD during the reign of Emperor Caracalla, had elaborate architectural ornaments, and it served also as a public fountain and a social rendez-vous point.
