Catalhoyuk Archeological Site
Catalhoyuk Archeological Site is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, hosting the precursory stages of human civilization in Central Turkey. There is particularly fine preservation of buildings and paintings, providing the visitor with evidence of their prehistoric occupants back in around 7500 BCE. The city is known for its own kind of planning, with the juxtaposition of dense housing and public areas, along with decorations like wall paintings and sculptures.
