Cavusin Village

Cavusin is a small town in the center of Cappadocia, known for its churches and houses cut into the rocks dating from the period of Christianity. The village is known for its cave dwellings where the local people had their lives until the rockfalls. After the rockfalls, locals decided to have houses made by clay and lime instead of stone caves.

 Apart from that, it also serves for hikers too. It is the point between Red Valley and Rose Valley, that's why it is one of the good spots for hiking. The scenic views from this ancient site are excellent.The presence of Church of St. John the Baptist giving an overview of early Christianity.
