Cendere Roman Bridge
Cendere Bridge is also known as the Severan Roman Bridge. It is an ancient stone bridge located in Turkey close to the town of Adıyaman. It was constructed during the Roman period in the second century AD across the Cendere River and is exceptionally famous for its superb architectural design and incredibly well-preserved structure. Roman military themes are displayed in exquisitely carved reliefs set beneath five huge arches of the bridge.
Today, the Cendere Bridge has turned into a popular tourist spot and an important archeological monument reflecting the building expertise of the Roman Empire.
