Karatay Madrasah
One of the oldest madrasahs, Karatay Madrasah, was constructed in Konya, Turkey, during the 13th century. It is an Islamic educational institution back in its time and well-known for its great Seljuk architecture and for its elegance courtyard with colorful tilework.
This museum founded by the Seljuk Vizier Karatay, contains all those masterpieces of Seljuk art and calligraphy. The longest history of Islamic art and education in Turkey was reflected in the Karatay Madrasah, which still remained as a significant architectural and cultural monument.
