Ortahisar Castle
Ortahisar Castle is the most famous rock-hewn fortress in Cappadocia, with expansive views of surroundings. Its ancient caves and towers bring out the defensive structures of the area and used as watchtower for years back in time. Apart from being a defensive structure, was also used as storing rooms. It was used by early Christian for storing and defensive purposes.
