Remains of Troy Cities ( I to IX )

The ruins of Troy Cities I-IX, located at Hisarlik, Turkey, represent the archaeological levels of the ancient Troy metropolis, widely known from Homer's "Iliad." These levels are continuous from Troy I, which starts in the early Bronze Age, through Troy IX, which continues into the Roman era. Each layer represents vibrant states of the city's development over the centuries, as well as its architectural styles and cultural influences.

Significant artifacts and structures have been discovered through the excavations, further enhancing critical new perspectives about the mytho-historical importance of Troy.
