Temple of Hadrian
Temple of Hadrian is the Roman temple that is very well preserved. It was built in honor of Emperor Hadrian in Ephesus, Turkey. This temple was constructed in the 2nd century AD and is famous for its finely chiseled exterior, featuring finely carved columns and reliefs with fine detailing. It was built in architectural style acknowledging Hadrian's contributions to the city and the grandeur of his emulated Roman architecture.
The temple has now high historical importance as it gives a view of the ancient artistic and architectural splendor that once was Ephesus.
