Meet your personal guide at the scheduled time at your hotel or port (if this option is selected). Then, head to the heart of the Old City to explore several iconic Istanbul highlights.

Start by visiting the Hagia Sophia to witness the fascinating blend of Christian and Islamic influences, from Byzantine mosaics to minarets. Next, immerse yourself in the world of sultans and courtiers at Topkapi Palace, where the vibrant Ottoman Court lived in luxurious pavilions and secluded harems behind high stone walls. Learn about the history of Mehmet the Conqueror, who built the palace after the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in 1453, and discover the centuries of palace intrigues and drama that followed his reign.

Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Istanbul's two famous markets. Explore the Grand Bazaar for carpets, handicrafts, and antiques, and then wander through the Spice Market to browse exotic spices, teas, colorful nuts, and the traditional Turkish sweet known as Lokum, or Turkish delight, beneath the market's high-arched ceilings.

You can customize the tour based on your interests, also you will have a sightseeing cruise along the Bosphorus Strait. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Istanbul’s elegant waterside villas, palaces, and fortifications from the water.

• On Fridays, Hagia Sophia entrance will be restricted between 12:00pm - 14:30pm and Blue Mosque will be restricted until 14:30pm. Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays.
• Guests located in Sultanahmet will be near the museums so if you book van service, it will not be used effectively.
• This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate.
• For last minute bookings and departures, as museums and some sites will be closed around 17:30 pm, alternative tour sites will be advised by the tour guide during the tour.
• If the hotel is not centrally located, the meeting point will be in front of the German Fountain.
• If van service is not chosen your guide will pick you up at centrally located hotels on foot.
