Located in Istanbul, the Grand Bazaar is also popularly known as Kapalicarsi and is one of the oldest and largest markets globally. It is a 15th-century joint that had almost 4,000 shops set up in interconnecting lanes and sells everything varying from jewelry and antiques to spice and textiles.

Additionally, this bazaar is famous for its lively ambiance, striking architecture, and handmade local handicrafts done by the Turkish craftsman. It still holds the status of being one of the most crowded shopping quarters and an area of interest for tourists, representing the varied cultural past of Istanbul.
