Harbor Street of the Ancient City

This was the busy trade route of Ephesus to its port in ancient times. This was one of the important commercial and transit roads of the city, lined with imposing columns and stores during the Roman period. Harbor Street is extremely well-known for its perfect ruins, and it contains the remains of the Celsus Library and the Marble Street.

 Now, on Harbor Street, visitors have a glimpse of an overview of the sociable and commercial life of ancient Ephesus.
