Kaymakli Underground City
Kaymakli Underground City is another huge underground system of passageways and chambers located in the region of Cappadocia. This multi-level city was constructed with soft volcanic rock. The history of this structure bears the trace of lots of ancient civilizations such as Phrygians, Assyrians, Hittites and Byzantians.
It contains rooms, dining halls, monastries, dormitories and so on. All the rooms are connected to each other with narrow trackings and that makes the structure even more perplexing. That's why it is seen as the most unique and astonishing structure in Cappadocia.
